OREANDA-NEWS. The International Aluminium Institute published the information that the total world reserves of the primary aluminium in January-March 2007 have made 6 million 7 thousand tons, and the daily output was 66,7 thousand tons.

In January-March 2007,  Africa produced 458 thousand tons of primary aluminium, Northern America - 1 million 356 thousand tons, Latin America - 618 thousand tons, Asia - 907 thousand tons, the Western Europe - 1 million 30 thousand tons, East and the Central Europe - 1 million 68 thousand tons, and Oceania - 570 thousand tons.

In 2006, Africa produced 1 million 864 thousand tons of primary aluminium, Northern America - 5 million 333 thousand tons, Latin America - 2 million 493 thousand tons, Asia - 3 million 494 thousand tons, the Western Europe - 4 million 176 thousand tons, East and the Central Europe - 4 million 232 thousand tons, and Oceania - 2 million 274 thousand tons.

Total world production in 2006 has reached 23 million 866 thousand tons of primary aluminium, and daily output made 65,4 thousand tons.
