OREANDA-NEWS. OMZ-SpecStal (St.Petersburg), a part of OMZ (Uralmash-Izhora Group) (RTS: OMZZ; LSE: OMZD; OTC: UHMVY), has completed the delivery of six turbine rotors to Shanghai Electric Power Company (China), the largest producer of electricity in Shanghai.

According to the press service of OMZ, the contract, signed in 2005, was worth approximately US$3.5 million.

OMZ-SpecStal division is Russia’s largest producer of semi-finished metallurgical products for machine building and other sectors. The division specializes in the production and supply of forgings, casting products, hot rolled sheet products and plates made of different types of steel produced by OMZ.
