OREANDA-NEWS. The president of “Management Company MMK Ltd” Victor Rashnikov signed the order on indexation of tariff rates and salaries of employees of OJSC “ММК”.

According to the information and public relations department of OJSC “ММК”, within the frameworks of the program of growth of wages, tariff rates and salaries of employees of OJSC “ММК” have increased by 8,8% since March 1.

The order also approves the lists of trades of workers and experts, by which monthly salaries and sizes of these salaries are established. Observing uniform principles of social policy, similar decisions will be accepted in companies of the Group of OJSC “ММК”.

Indexation of tariff rates and salaries occurs at ММК two times a year: in March and September. Thus, the strategy of advancing growth of salary of metallurgists in comparison with inflation is realized. In 2006, the monthly average wages of workers of ММК increased by 22% in comparison with the last year. In 2007, under condition of performance of the approved program on increase of labour productivity, quality indicators and performance of conditions of target agreements the increase in average wages by 25% in comparison with parameter of the last year is planned.

OJSC “ММК” remains one of the leaders of branch on labour productivity level. In 2006, this parameter increased almost by 20% and has made 44,3 conditional tons per person in comparison with the last year. In 2007, according to the purposes of the enterprise in the field of quality, the increase in labour productivity is planned up to 45,7 conditional tons per one worker.
