OREANDA-NEWS. In January-February 2007, Severny Mining-Concentrating Plant (SevGOK, Krivoy Rog, Dnepropetrovsk oblast) increased the volume of commodity output by 11% up to UAH 673 million in comparable prices as compared with analogous period of 2006.

According to Interfax-Ukraine, volume of production in comparable prices in February 2007 has made UAH 333,9 million, or 11,6% more than parameters of analogous period of the last year.

For two months, SevGOK increased manufacture of concentrate by 10,4% - up to 2,08 million tons in comparison with analogous period of the last year, pellets - by 25,3% up to 1,672 million tons.

In February 2007, SevGOK increased volume of manufacture of pellets by 12,7% - up to 819,3 thousand tons in comparison with February 2006, iron ore concentrate - by 7,7% up to 980 thousand tons.

In 2006, SevGOK increased volume of commodity output by 17,1% - up to UAH 2,911 billion in comparable prices in comparison with 2005. The volume of manufacture of iron ore concentrate increased by 12% - up to 11,956 million tons, pellets - by 33,9% up to 10,107 million tons.
