OREANDA-NEWS. According to the operative data, in January-February of this year metallurgical enterprise "Azovstal" (Mariupol, Donetsk region) has increased manufacture of finished rolled products by 10,8 % - up to 830 thousand tons in comparison with analogous period of the last year.

According to the Interfax-Ukraine, manufacture of steel for this period increased by 10,6 % - up to 964 thousand tons, pig-iron - by 13,5 % up to 839 thousand tons, whereas production of agglomerate decreased by 5,2 % to 312 thousand tons.

In February, the metallurgical enterprise produced 420 thousand tons of finished rolled products, 487 thousand tons of steel, 426 thousand tons of pig-iron and 148 thousand tons of agglomerate.

In 2006, metallurgical enterprise "Azovstal" increased manufacture of ready rolled products by 0,6 % - up to 5,272 million tons in comparison with 2005, steel - by 2,2 % up to 6,012 million tons, pig-iron - by 4,4 % up to 5,064 million tons, whereas production of agglomerate decreased by 7,9 % to 1,933 million tons.
