OREANDA-NEWS. For 2006 Chusovoy Metal Works (CHMW), which is a part of the United Metallurgical Company (OMK), has paid in budgets of all levels 1,4 billion roubles.

The increase in tax payments, and, hence, contribution of Chusovoy Metal Works to development of economy of the region of presence is caused by large investments of OMK in modernization and development of capacities the plant and growth of industrial parameters.

The volume of financing of the investment projects being implemented at CHMW made 700 million roubles in 2006. In particular, reconstruction of rolling and spring manufactures, construction of gas-clearing constructions behind converters and a mixer of duplex-shop are implemented.

In 2007, OMK plans to allocate over 1 billion roubles on realization of investment projects at Chusovoy Metal Works. As a whole, in 2007 OMK plans to increase volumes of investments up to $800 million whereas for 2006 ОМК invested $630 million.
