OREANDA-NEWS. Vyksa Metal Works, being a part of the structure of the United Metallurgical Company (OMK), is the largest tax bearer of the Nizhniy Novgorod region.

Since 2000, within 6 years the enterprise was receiving the award of the Board of the Management of the Federal Tax Service “For the powerful contribution to economy of the Nizhniy Novgorod region and Russia, payment of taxes, gathering and other payments to budgets of all levels”.

According to the press-service of OMK, on results of 2006 the sum of tax payments of VMW has increased in some times and has made over 5 billion roubles (in 2005 the enterprise paid approximately 1 billion roubles). From them: tax deductions in the regional budget increased by 142 % (over 1,7 billion roubles against 707 million roubles in 2005), deductions in the local budget have increased by 11,4 % in comparison with 2005 and have made more than 165 million roubles (148 million in 2005).
