OREANDA-NEWS. More than 300 million USD was invested in 2006 within the framework of the strategic investment program, with all the projects being implemented on time and within budget.

According to the press service of TMK, in 2006 two continuous casting machines of one million tonnes capacity each were launched at Seversky Pipe Plant and Taganrog Metallurgical Works. TMK is also continuing to upgrade its high value-added, seamless pipe production capacity.

Approximately 30% of the strategic investment program, which runs until 2010, has been financed to date.
