World Stocks of Aluminium Increased in January 2007
OREANDA-NEWS. The International Aluminium Institute has informed, that the world reserves of crude aluminium in January 2007 made 1 million 647 thousand tons, from which in Africa - 87 thousand tons, in Northern America - 442 thousand tons, in Latin America - 124 thousand tons, in Asia - 266 thousand tons, in the Europe - 599 thousand tons, and in Oceania - 129 thousand tons.
The world reserves of all aluminium, including crude metal, made 2 million 995 thousand tons in January 2007, from which 109 thousand tons in Africa, 885 thousand tons in Northern America, 221 thousand tons in Latin America, 366 thousand tons in Asia, 1 million 261 thousand tons in the Europe and 153 thousand tons in Oceania.
According to the specified data, in December 2006, the world reserves of all aluminium, including crude metal, made 2 million 943 thousand tons.
