OREANDA-NEWS. The laboratory of preservation of environment of the Vysikogorskiy mining-concentrating plant being a part of Evraz Group has confirmed the right to implementation of own ecological researches with expansion of the area of control over condition of environment.

According to the press-service of Vysikogorskiy GOK, from this year ecologists of the enterprise, besides monitoring of condition of water and air basins, will start implementing and providing the state supervising bodies with research of potable water and sewer drains. It will allow the enterprise considerably reducing ecological payments and planning nature protection actions, basing on results of own analytical materials.

Vysikogorskiy GOK will keep the right to implement the basic volume of researches independently, without attraction of foreign organizations, within the whole year.

Ecological monitoring will be carried out within the frameworks of the accreditation received by the enterprise in 2003. This document is confirmed annually, last check was carried out at Vysikogorskiy GOK in the end of the last year. Within 2 weeks auditors of the Ural scientific research institute of metrology and standardization (Ekaterinburg) have been working at the enterprise.

Experts have noted conformity of equipment of the laboratory to modern requirements, high skill level of the personnel, observance of all norms of safety precautions and accuracy of implemented researches. Research base of Vysikogorskiy GOK is equipped with the necessary equipment and preparations for the chemical analysis, obtained data are processed by means of computer programs and recorded in special magazines.

Experts of the laboratory of preservation of environment of the enterprise carry out the control over condition of environment in 200 points of selection on 5-10 parameters. The area of check includes water and air basins, atmospheric air, industrial drains in the cities of Nizhniy Tagil, Kushva and settlement Evstyunikha: on all 8 industrial platforms of Vysikogorskiy GOK and in residential areas on the border of sanitary-protective zones. Serially, the enterprise is hosting a lot of ecological actions on modernization of gas-clearing constructions; re-cultivation of worked-out ground, processing and recycling of industrial wastes. Owing to the implemented work only for the last year Vysikogorskiy GOK reduced cumulative emissions in atmosphere by 11 %. Achievements of the enterprise in the field of introduction of ecologically safe technologies are noted in review-competition "Leader of nature protection activity", organized under the aegis of the Council of Federation, the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Nature and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
