OREANDA-NEWS. Enterprise “Ural Steel” passed the combined audit with the purpose of acknowledgement of two Certificates on manufacture of sheet ship-building steel according to requirements of Rules of classification and construction of sea vessels, floating drilling units and sea stationary platforms.

According to the press-service of “Metalloinvest”, experts of the Russian Sea Register of Navigation have checked up the monitoring system of quality and the "know-how" according to requirements of РМРС Rules, stability of level of quality of production on the basis of presented statistical data on results of mechanical tests and the control over chemical analysis of steel grades specified in the Certificates on recognition of OJSC “Ural Steel” as the manufacturer of ship-building steel.

On results of the audit the right of the enterprise to make sheet rolled products of ship-building steel according to the Rules of the Russian River Register is confirmed.

In 2007, delivery of sheet ship-building steel is planned to the company “Sea Oil-and-Gas Projects” (Nizhniy Novgorod). Rough volume of deliveries makes 12 thousand tons a year.
