OREANDA-NEWS. In January 2007, the mining-concentrating enterprises operated by Management Company “Metalloinvest Ltd” (OJSC “Lebedinsky GOK” and OJSC “Mikhailovskiy GOK”) have increased manufacture of all kinds of production in comparison with January 2006.

According to the press-service of “Metalloinvest”, 3 million 293,8 thousand tons of concentrate (5% against 3 million 133 thousand tons in January 2006), 1 million 770,9 thousand tons of pellets (8,5% against 1 million 632 thousand tons in January 2006), 92,4 thousand tons of hot-briquette iron (4% against 89,3 thousand tons in January 2006), and also 226,5 thousand tons of sintering ore and 58,8 thousand tons of domain ore (185,2 thousand tons and 46,9 thousand tons in 2006 accordingly) were made.

The metallurgical enterprises of the holding (OJSC “Oskolsky electrometallurgical plant” and OJSC “Ural Steel”) have increased manufacture of steel by 6% (from 528,8 thousand tons in 2006 up to 561,7 thousand tons).
