OREANDA-NEWS. In January 2007, enterprises of pipe battalion of CHTPZ Group - Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling and Pervouralskiy Novotrubny Plants have shipped to consumers 145,7 thousand tons of pipe production, or 48% more than results of 2006 at the rate of 98,4 thousand tons.

According to the press-service of CHTPZ, shipment of OJSC “CHTPZ” in January has made 81,8 thousand tons of pipes, or 42% more in comparison with 57,6 thousand tons of pipes in January 2006. Including, shipment of the large-diameter pipes has made 51,6 thousand tons, or 36% more than for analogous period of the last year, when shipment made 37,9 thousand tons.

OJSC “PNTZ” sold 63,9 thousand tons of production in January 2007. The gain has made 57% against the last year, when sales made 40,8 thousand tons.

High results of shipment of finished goods of the company for January 2007 in comparison with analogous period of the last year are connected with high activity of the Russian pipe market this month on one hand, and rather low parameters of shipments in January 2006 (in connection with planned repair of basic mills at PNTZ) on the other.
