OREANDA-NEWS. In January 2007 the Russian Federation increased production of steel pipes by 34,5 % - up to 673 thousand tons in comparison with January 2006, the Federal service of state statistics informed.

It is also marked that manufacture of steel pipes by the Russian Federation in January 2007 was 6,1 % less release in December 2006.

In 2006, the Russian Federation has increased production of steel pipes by 17,7 % - up to 7,9 million tons in comparison with 2005.
