OREANDA-NEWS. OJSC “Tulachermet” summed up results of work of the enterprise in 2006.

According to the press-service of OJSC “Tulachermet”, growth of manufacture of pig-iron at OJSC “Tulachermet” has made 11,4 %.

For the first time for all history of a factory it is made 2 million 992,35 thousand tons of pig-iron, that in recalculation on передельный makes 3 million tons. Also for the first time at use of 100 % of concentrates it is made 3 million 448,6 thousand tons of agglomerate.

Shipment of pig-iron on export has made 91,4 %. OJSC “Tulachermet” still keeps the lead position in the Russian export of this kind of production (share of the enterprise in the all-Russian export - 46,2 %).

At the same time, the great work on decrease in norms of charge of the basic kinds of raw material and fuel has been carried out at the enterprise. The agglomeration shop of OJSC “Tulachermet” also used petro-coke as fuel for economy of more expensive coke trifles. The charge of coke has decreased in domain shop, and in 2006 the lowest charge of dry coke is noted for the last five years. The economy was promoted by a number of factors, among which increase in share of natural gas, increase in temperatures of blasting due to input of new air-heating systems Kalugina at DP-2, and also decrease in idle times of furnaces. In the long term, use of schungite should serve the same purposes at melt of foundry pig-iron.

The energy-complex of OJSC “Tulachermet”, which provided uninterrupted submission of all kinds of power resources at increase of manufacture of pig-iron and agglomerate, has been stably working in 2006. Steady work of boilers of thermal power station-PVS has allowed utilizing as much as possible domain gas and essentially reducing purchasing of natural gas.

Good economic benefit was given by decrease in charge of conditional fuel in thermal power station; it is below the level of the last year by 4 kg/Gcal of steam. In 2006, OJSC “Tulachermet” produced the big volume of repair work. The sum of expenses on capital and operating repairs has made 639,8 million roubles. 323,2 million roubles were spent on construction and reconstruction of the equipment. Equipment worth 167,7 million roubles was purchased. Still, one of the basic priorities of the enterprise was decrease in technogenic influence on environment. OJSC “Tulachermet” spent over 200 million roubles on construction of nature protection objects and introduction of low-waste technologies in 2006.
