OREANDA-NEWS. In January 2007, OJSC “MMK” has produced 155,2 thousand tons of ready ore, 887,7 thousand tons of agglomerate, 455,3 thousand tons of coke, 816 thousand tons of pig-iron.

According to the information and public relations department of OJSC “MMK”, the melt of steel at the enterprise in January has made almost 1 million 122 thousand tons. For the first time for many years OJSC “MMK” melted over 1 million tons of steel in the first month of the year, during which some decrease in manufacture is traditionally observed. Moreover, it is also the maximal parameter of monthly melt of steel for almost 15-year period. The received result exceeds similar parameter of melt of steel in January 2006 by 13,9 %.

Manufacture of rolled products at OJSC “MMK” has made 1 million 86,4 thousand tons in January 2007 (113,1 % against parameters for analogous period of the last year), production of commodity metal products - 1 million 45,9 thousand tons (117,8 %).

The share of export in the structure of shipment of OJSC “MMK” in January of this year has made 45,8 % (53,3 % in January 2006). At the same time, also for the first time for last years export sales were below realization of metal products in the home market in January.
