OREANDA-NEWS. For the first time, Cherepovets Metal Works of OJSC “Severstal” has introduced the uniform Standard regulating the safe maintenance of territory of industrial platform of the enterprise.

According to the press-service of “Severstal”, the document, being developed during several years, is approved and put into operation by the order of general director Anatoly Kruchinin from January 1, 2007.

Action of the document extends on all structural divisions of the enterprise, the contractors performing works on its territory, and also the foreign organizations which are placed on the industrial platform.

The standard covers all spheres of maintenance of the industrial platform of the enterprise: automobile, railways and foot routes, parking of transport, organization of artificial illumination of the territory. Extensive continuation of this list is presented in more than 20 sections of the document.
