Russia Imported 4 Million 744,6 Thousand Tons of Ferrous Metals in January-November 2006
OREANDA-NEWS. In January-November 2006, Russia imported 4 million 744,6 thousand tons of ferrous metals worth $3 billion 171,8 million.
According to the Federal customs service, import from the overseas countries totalled 1 million 398,4 thousand tons worth $1 billion 215,8 million. Import from the CIS made 3 million 346,2 thousand tons worth $1 billion 956,1 million.
Without taking into account pig-iron, ferroalloys, waste and scrap metal, Russia imported 4 million 103,8 thousand tons of ferrous metals at the rate of $2 billion 860,3 million in January-November 2006. Import from the overseas countries totalled 1 million 341 thousand tons worth $1 billion 173,1 million. Import from the CIS countries made 2 million 762,8 thousand tons worth $1 billion 687,2 million.
