OREANDA-NEWS. In 2007 CherMK of OJSC “Severstal” will carry on the modernisation of capacities begun in 2006, the major of which will be completion of reconstruction in the converter manufacture.

According to the press-service of “Severstal”, general director of CherMK of OJSC “Severstal” Anatoly Kruchinin declared about it.

Besides, performance of the new annual plan which will exceed 12 million tons on melt of steel and will make 11 million tons on shipped rolled products will much depend on duly completion of construction of the 11-th oxygen block planned for September 2007.
