OREANDA-NEWS. In 2006, Kosogorskiy Metal Works has made 701,1 thousand tons of pig-iron and 58,3 thousand tons of ferromanganese.

According to the press centre of OJSC “Kosogorskiy Metal Works”, production of ferromanganese increased by 14,4 thousand tons in comparison with 2005, and manufacture of pig-iron increased by 37,6 thousand tons.

In 2006, OJSC “Kosogorskiy Metal Works” produced 1 thousand 760 tons of grey moulding, 250 tons of forged pieces, 2 thousand 498 tons of metalware, 255 thousand 190 pieces of breeze blocks.

As a whole, for the last year the enterprise produced commodity output to the amount of 6 billion 9 million roubles.

In TPP-PVS in 2006 generated 129,9 million kWh the electric power. The power complex of the enterprise is effectively working both for well being of the enterprise, but also stably provides settlement Kosaya Gora and a southern part of the city of Tula with heat, water and electric power.

In 2006, manufacture of secondary production also has increased - consumers have received 50 thousand 41 ton slag crushed rock and 159 thousand 355 tons of moulded slag.

The wages at the enterprise in 2006 have increased by 16.4% on the average as compared with 2005.
