According to the preliminary data, in 2006, Zaporozhye metallurgical plant “Zaporozhstal” has increased manufacture of finished steel by 0,3 % - up to 3,613 million tons in comparison with the last year, steel - by 0,4 % up to 4,400 million tons, having reduced production of pig-iron by 0,2 % - to 3,535 million tons and agglomerate - by 0,1 % to 5,656 million tons.

According to "Interfax-Ukraine", in December 2006 “Zaporozhstal” has made 314 thousand tons of finished steel, 361 thousand tons of steel, 281 thousand tons of pig-iron and 501 thousand tons of agglomerate.

In 2005 “Zaporozhstal” has reduced manufacture of finished steel by 2,7 % to 3,603 million tons, steel - by 1,8 % to 4,379 million tons in comparison with 2004, having increased production of pig-iron by 5,5 % - up to 3,541 million tons, agglomerate - by 7,3 % up to 5,659 million tons. The volume of realization of commodity output has made UAH 7,772 billion.
