During 11 Months of 2006, VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation Increased Titanium Production by 18%
OREANDA-NEWS. During 11 Months of 2006, VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation increased titanium production by 18% compared to the same period of last year.
During 11 months of the current year, on a year-to-year basis VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation increased production of seamless tube by 14%, welded tube – by 37%, billet - by 22 %, sheet and plate - by 40%. Output of titanium die-forgings increased by 52%, forgings - by 105%, rolled rings – by 36%.
Production of ingot and slab was maintained at the same level, while production of electrodes and other titanium items equalled 53% and 80% correspondingly of the last year level.
Ferro-titanium output and aluminum section production amounted to 99% compared to the last year level.
Most export titanium deliveries were made to the customers in North America – about 60% of total export shipments, Europe - about 35%, other regions – 5 %.
Publication of the Company’s 2005 financial statements per US GAAP was postponed till Q1, 2007. The delay is due to the longer term required for submittal and processing of some additional information from the Company and its affiliates. According to preliminary data, 2005 net profit per US GAAP is estimated at $228.5 million, sales revenue at $746.4 million.
Financial information contained in this statement (regarding estimated financial results of the Company’s performance per US GAAP) may be adjusted in the future. Among other factors that can lead to such adjustment the key factor is significant difference in the accounting principles per RAS and US GAAP.
