OREANDS-NEWS. In January-November 2006 the Poltava Ore-Concentration Plant (Komsomolsk, Poltava Oblast) increased deliveries of pellets by 13.8% to 7.962 million tons compared with a corresponding period in 2005.

Deliveries of pellets in November, according to the Interfax-Ukraine news agency report, stood at 742,000 tons, at 811,400 tons in October. 

In January-November 2005 the Poltava plant made 7.768 million tons of pellets, including 4.988 tons of ordinary pellets and 2.78 million tons of higher quality pellets (floatation pellets).

November production was at 743.3 thousand tons of pellets, including 499.9 thousand tons of ordinary and 243.4 thousand tons of flotation pellets.

In 2005 the deliveries of pellets went up by 4.4 percent yoy, to 7.542 million tons.
