OREANDA-NEWS. In November 2006, metallurgical enterprise “Azovstal” (Mariupol, Donetsk region) has reduced manufacture in the comparable prices by 5,6 %, or by UAH 59,882 million to UAH 1 billion 17,819 million in comparison with October.

According to "Ukrainian news", in October "Azovstal" has increased manufacture in the comparable prices by 4,4 %, or by UAH 45,461 million - up to UAH 1 billion 77,701 million in comparison with September.

The open joint-stock company "Azovstal" has finished year 2005 with the net profit of UAH 1,161 billion, its net profit has increased by 13,8 %, or by UAH 1,499 billion up to UAH 12,388 billion in comparison with 2004.

In 2005 "Azovstal" has increased manufacture of pig-iron by 3,1 % - up to 4,944 million tons, manufacture of steel by 2,5 % - up to 5,758 million tons in comparison with 2004, having reduced production of rolled steel by 14,5 % - up to 5,303 million tons.
