OREANDA-NEWS. In October 2006 export of long-length and profiled iron by Ukraine increased by 6,4 %, or by 38,48 thousand tons - up to 636,95 thousand tons in comparison with September.

According to "Ukrainian news", receipts from export of long-length and profiled iron have increased by 8,5 %, or by $25,18 million - up to $322,68 million.

In comparison with October 2005, export of long-length and profiled iron in October 2006 has increased by 20,3 %, or by 107,48 thousand tons.

In January-October 2006, export of long-length and profiled iron increased by 19,1 %, or by 943,68 thousand tons in comparison with January-October 2005 and has made 5 million 875,82 thousand tons worth $2 billion 607,34 million.

In 2005 export of long-length and profiled iron reduced by 11,2 %, or by 762,51 thousand tons in comparison with 2004 and has made 6 million 39,83 thousand tons worth $2 billion 481,65 million.
