According to "Ukrainian news", expenses for purchase of iron ore in October reduced by 58,4 %, or by $5,01 million - up to $3,57 million

Import of non-agglomerated ore reduced by 72,1 %, or by 76,00 thousand tons to 29,44 thousand tons.

Import of agglomerated ore decreased by 41,1 %, or by 40,77 thousand tons to 58,39 thousand tons.

In comparison with October 2005, import of iron ore in October 2006 decreased by 45,4 %, or by 73,01 thousand tons.

In January-October 2006, import of iron ore reduced by 24,9 %, or by 515,85 thousand tons in comparison with January-October 2005 and has made 1 million 559,46 thousand tons to the amount of $63,05 million.

In 2005, import of iron ore reduced by 8,4 %, or by 240,51 thousand tons in comparison with 2004 and has made 2 million 634,22 thousand tons to the amount of $141,18 million.
