OREANDA-NEWS. According to the operative data, in January-November 2006 metallurgical enterprise “Azovstal” (Mariupol, Donetsk region) has increased manufacture of finished steel by 0,7% - up to 4,792 million tons in comparison with analogous period of 2005.

According to Interfax-Ukraine, manufacture of steel for this period increased by 1,7% - up to 5,468 million tons, pig-iron - by 2% - up to 4,590 million tons, and production of agglomerate decreased by 7,8% - to 1,771 million tons.

In November 2006, the metal works has produced 439 thousand tons of finished steel, 545 thousand tons of steel, 466 thousand tons of pig-iron and 159 thousand tons of agglomerate.

In 2005, "Azovstal" has increased manufacture of finished steel by 2,1% - up to 5,260 million tons, steel - by 3,4% - up to 5,906 million tons, pig-iron - by 3,1% - up to 4,944 million tons, agglomerate - by 5,1% - up to 2,099 million tons in comparison with 2004.
