OREANDA-NEWS. According to the operative data, in January-November 2006, Zaporozhye Ferroalloys Plant (ZZF) has kept volumes of manufacture at the level of analogous period of the last year at the rate of 471,6 thousand tons.

According to Interfax-Ukraine, manufacture of silicon manganese for eleven months of 2006 increased by 2,4 % - up to 331,8 thousand tons. Production of ferrosilicon has decreased by 15,2 % to 56,8 thousand tons, ferromanganese - by 4,1 % to 76,7 thousand tons. Manufacture of other ferroalloys has made 6,3 thousand tons whereas it was equal to 1 thousand tons for eleven months of 2005.

In November 2006, the factory produced 39,2 thousand tons of ferroalloys: 27 thousand tons of silicon manganese, 5,5 thousand tons of ferromanganese, 5,3 thousand tons of ferrosilicon and 1,3 thousand tons of other ferroalloys.

In 2005, ZZF reduced production by 11,2 % - to 513 thousand tons in comparison with 2004. At the same time production of ferromanganese reduced by 15,5 % to 86,1 thousand tons, ferrosilicon - by 42,1 % to 70,9 thousand tons, other ferroalloys - by 54,5 % to 1 thousand tons. At the same time, production of silicon manganese increased by 1% up to 355 thousand tons.
