OREANDA-NEWS. According to the operative data, in January-November 2006, Mariupol Metal Works after Ilyich (Donetsk region) reduced production of finished steel by 2,9 % - up to 4,898 million tons in comparison with analogous period of 2005.

According to the Interfax-Ukraine, manufacture of steel for eleven months has increased by 0,8 % - up to 6,381 million tons, pig-iron – increased by 3,9 % up to 4,955 million tons, and production of agglomerate reduced by 16,2 % to 10,302 million tons.

Besides, the enterprise has increased manufacture of steel pipes by 8,2 % - up to 98,5 thousand tons.

In November 2006, ММК after Ilyich made 475 thousand tons of finished steel, 579 thousand tons of steel, 465 thousand tons of pig-iron, 940 thousand tons of agglomerate and 7,8 thousand tons of pipes.

According to the preliminary data, from the beginning of this year ММК after Ilyich has made commodity output (in operating wholesale prices) for the sum over UAH 12,435 billion.
