OREANDA-NEWS. In October 2006, manufacture of steel pipes by Ukraine increased by 4,3 %, or by 10,10 thousand tons - up to 244,40 thousand tons in comparison with September.

According to "Ukrainian news", in October, the largest manufacturer of steel pipes Nizhnednepropetrovsk Pipe-Rolling Factory increased manufacture of steel pipes by 1,1 %, or by 0,54 thousand tons - up to 49,63 thousand tons.

Khartsyzsk Pipe Works has raised production of steel pipes by 25,2 %, or by 11,81 thousand tons - up to 58,71 thousand tons.

Dnepropetrovsk Pipe Works has increased manufacture of steel pipes by 1,7 %, or by 0,36 thousand tons - up to 21,08 thousand tons.

Lugansk Pipe Works has increased manufacture of steel pipes by 9,4 %, or by 1,80 thousand tons - up to 20,94 thousand tons.

Novomoskovsk Pipe Works has reduced manufacture of steel pipes by 8,8 %, or by 2,37 thousand tons to 24,61 thousand tons.

In January-October 2006, manufacture of steel pipes increased by 13,3 % - up to 2 million 164,72 thousand tons in comparison with January-October 2005.

In 2005, production of steel pipes increased by 12,9%, or by 260,6 thousand tons and has made 2 million 295,8 thousand tons.
