In 2005, manufacture of manganese ore reduced by 2,5 %, or by 57 thousand tons in comparison with 2004 and has made 2 million 209 thousand tons.

In 2005, import of manganese ore increased by 6,4 %, or by 110,39 thousand tons in comparison with 2004 and has made 1 million 831,87 thousand tons to the amount of $230,19 million.
