OREANDA-NEWS. OJSC “Severstal” has held the coordination council with the key client – “Vyksa Metal Works”.

According to the press-service of “Severstal”, at the next meeting which was held on last Friday in Vyksa, realization of the report signed at the previous council was summed up.

For the expired period the metallurgical enterprise realized the whole complex of actions directed to further strengthening of cooperation of two companies.

Among the basic results of this activity the consumers noted growth of quality of production of the third sheet-rolling shop of “Severstal” (Kolpino), which finished the global reconstruction this year and construction of the methodical furnace with through passage carriages within its framework. The latter is noted for high efficiency.

Internal defects are diagnosed by installation of the ultrasonic control, being integral part of the technological circuit. The modernized cutting line allows improving quality of cut and increasing accuracy of cut.

Within the frameworks of realization of the joint complex program of technical cooperation on development of new kinds of production, the companies develop unique cold-resistant and corrosion-proved steel in all sheet-rolling shops.

Work on increase of quality indicators of metal rolling, service component of cooperation in the long term prospect creates preconditions for increase in deliveries to the Vyksa Metal Works.
