OREANDA-NEWS. OJSC “Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works” paid dividends for the first quarter of 2006 at the rate of 6 billion 302 million 746 thousand 505,53 roubles.

According to the press service of the company, the payment was carried out within the term stipulated by the Charter of OJSC “MMK” on November 22, 2006.

Payment of dividends for the first quarter 2006 was envisaged due to the decision of the extraordinary shareholders’ meeting of OJSC “MMK” as of May 26, 2006, which approved the size of dividends at the rate of 0,593 roubles per share including taxes.

The total sum of dividends for the first quarter of 2006 made 6 billion 303 million 721 thousand 408,8 roubles.

974 thousand 903,27 roubles were not paid because a part of shareholders has presented no information for money transfer.
