OREANDA-NEWS. UMMC and firm “Sandvik Mining and Construction Finland Corp” (Finland) have opened the centralized warehouse of spare parts for mining equipment of Finnish manufacture on the basis of Ghai GOK (enterprise of raw complex of UMMC), the press-service of UMMC reported.

“RusTamService” Ltd (Moscow), a part of “Sandvik Mining and Construction Finland Corp.” will carry out deliveries of spare parts.

Deputy Director of Ghai GOK on commercial issues Evgenie Drygin has noted that the underground mining equipment of firm "Sandvik" is operated practically at each enterprise of raw complex of UMMC. And it is important for production that deliveries of spare parts were carried out in due time and in full. Therefore it is possible to consider creation of the centralized warehouse as the beginning of big work on development of maintenance services for enterprises of the holding.

Location of a warehouse of spare parts on the basis of Ghai GOK is caused, in particular, by convenient territorial arrangement against other enterprises of raw complex of UMMC.

Ghai GOK became the second enterprise in Russia where the firm "Sandvik Mining and Construction Oy" has opened a warehouse of spare parts under the concrete client and on the territory of a client. The first service centre of the Finnish firm has been opened about two years ago at “Norilsk Nickel”.

At official opening of the service centre was attended by the Head of the Russian office of firm "Sandvik Mining and Construction Finland Corp" Seppo Hyauryunen, director on service of firm OJSC “Sandvik” in Russia - Nikolay Vokhmin, and also representatives of UMMC-Holding.
