OREANDA-NEWS. For January-October 2006, Mikhailovskiy GOK, which is managed by the management company “Metalloinvest”, has produced 16 million 536,3 thousand tons of commodity ore (sintering ore, domain ore and concentrate) and 8 million 67,5 thousand tons of pellets, or 2 million 792,2 thousand tons and 1 million 258,4 thousand tons more than parameter of analogous period of 2005 accordingly.

According to the press-service of the management company “Metalloinvest”, in October 2006 Mikhailovskiy GOK made 1 million 813,7 thousand tons of commodity iron ore, (in 2005 - 1 million 582,017 thousand tons), 850,5 thousand tons of pellets (in 2005 - 663 thousand tons).

Growth of parameters of manufacture is the result of actions on modernisation of the enterprise. Due to introduction of 9th and 10th sections of the concentration plant of the crushing-concentrating complex in commercial operation the experts expect to receive approximately 25 thousand tons of iron ore concentrate monthly in addition after reconstruction.
