OREANDA-NEWS. In January-October 2006, the Russian Federation has increased production of steel pipes by 17,6 % - up to 6,5 million tons in comparison with analogous period of the last year.

According to the Federal service of state statistics, manufacture of steel pipes by the Russian Federation in October of this year has exceeded production in October 2005 by 11,8 % and was by 5,6 % less than manufacture in September 2006.
