In January-September 2006, the enterprise of metallurgical complex of UMMC – OJSC “Elektrozink” has made over 65 thousand tons of commodity zinc (at the level of 2005), 27,3 thousand tons of commodity lead (growth in 1,5 times), 122 thousand tons of sulfuric acid (105,1 %), 0,6 tons of indium.

According to the press-service of UMMC, according to the preliminary data for nine months, capital investments of UMMC in development of "Elektrozink" from the beginning of this year have made 295 million roubles (growth in 1,8 times). In particular, over 136 million roubles (growth to 2 times) were allocated to purchase of new equipment, construction - approximately 121 million roubles (growth in 1,2 times).
