OREANDA-NEWS. CJSC Transmashholding has delivered to JSC NK Kazakhstan temir joli (Kazakhstan railways) the first two passenger cars after the overhaul and update at Oktyabrsky Electric Railway Car Repair Plant (OERCRP).

According to the press service of CJSC Transmashholding, the overhaul and update is performed under this year contract also implying the overhaul of another seven passenger cars by the close of the year. The three cars of the latter group will be leaving the plant this November, whereas the other four this December.

The overhaul and update work performed by the OERCRP features the cars conversion into regional ones. The body repair has been performed as well as the internal layout changes, namely, the mounting of air conditioners, sophisticated chairs, double glass panes, and data panels in the saloon.

Two cars are featuring additional power-supply system changes (service voltage will be 110V against 50V).
