OREANDA-NEWS. According to the preliminary data, in January-October of this year, Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant (NFZ, Dnepropetrovsk region) has increased volume of manufacture by 6,8 % - up to 722,4 thousand tons in comparison with analogous period of the last year.
According to the Interfax-Ukraine, for ten months of 2006 the factory has made 507,3 thousand tons of silicon manganese (in January-October 2005 - 468,4 thousand tons), 210,8 thousand tons of ferromanganese (207,8 thousand tons) and 4,3 thousand tons of other ferroalloys (8,6 thousand tons).

In October, NFZ produced 82,4 thousand tons of ferroalloys: 56,5 thousand tons of silicon manganese and 25,9 thousand tons of ferromanganese.

In 2005, NFZ has reduced manufacture by 20,2 % to 812,8 thousand tons in comparison with 2004, having made 564,3 thousand tons of silicon manganese, 238 thousand tons of ferromanganese and 10,5 thousand tons of other ferroalloys.
