OREANDA-NEWS. The experts of OJSC “Ural Steel” have developed a new sort of steel “UralSB-1” (Ural High-Strength Steel), which supposed reduction of alloying of steel with expensive elements, such as molybdenum, vanadium and etc  that allows to reduce the cost price of production keeping its quality.

According to the press service of Metalloinvest, this sort of steel will be registered as a trademark in Rospatent, which will be a security from production of such metal at other enterprises of the branch. The test party of the rolled metal from steel UralSB-1 is already produced and sent to RUPP PO “BelAZ”.
