OREANDA-NEWS. OMZ (Uralmash-Izhora Group) published its 2006 interim IFRS financial results calculated under the International Financial Reporting Standards.

Sales during the first half of 2006 rose by 9.6% as compared to the first half of 2005 to reach US$374.3 million, with international sales contributing 55% to total sales.

Operating profit reached US$ 25.0 million and EBITDA rose to US$ 37.0, an increase of 21% and 22% from the same period in 2005, respectively.
