OREANDA-NEWS. Participants of a round table “Spot market of steel pipes: condition and prospects of development”, held at the office of the Russian Union of Metal and Steel Suppliers, agreed that now the horizon of planning extends on prospect till 2010 that is connected with cardinal change of structure of pipe consumption.

According to the press centre of RUMSS, it, in turn, is provoked by realization of the scale national projects. So, the share of consumption of the large-diameter pipes will grow up to 32 % in 2007.

As a whole it is expected that manufacture of pipes in 2006 will increase by 19,8 % - from 6,1 million tons up to 7,3 million tons. In 2007, the increase in manufacture of pipes by 12,4 % - up to 8,3 million tons is predicted.
