OREANDA-NEWS. In September 2006, manufacture of iron ore and iron ore concentrate by Ukraine reduced by 0,9 %, or by 56,7 thousand tons to 6 million 154 thousand tons in comparison with August.

According to "Ukrainian news", manufacture of iron ore reduced by 1,5 %, or by 20,9 thousand tons to 1 million 354,1 thousand tons.

Production of iron ore concentrate in September reduced by 0,7 %, or by 35,8 thousand tons to 4 million 799,9 thousand tons in comparison with August.

Manufacture of agglomerate in September reduced by 3,9 %, or by 152,3 thousand tons to 3 million 787,2 thousand tons in comparison with August. Production of pellets reduced by 0,8 %, or by 14,3 thousand tons to 1 million 854,6 thousand tons.

In January-September 2006, manufacture of iron ore raw material has increased by 6,5 %, or by 3 million 307,2 thousand tons in comparison with January-September 2005 and has made 54 million 49,7 thousand tons.

In 2005, manufacture of iron ore raw material increased by 4,5 % in comparison with 2004 and has made 68 million 570 thousand tons.
