OREANDA-NEWS. In September 2006, manufacture of pig-iron by Ukraine reduced by 4,7 %, or by 132,97 thousand tons to 2 million 711,33 thousand tons in comparison with August.

According to "Ukrainian news", in September manufacture of pig-iron at the metallurgical industrial complex "Mittal Steel Krivoy Rog" (Dnepropetrovsk region) has increased by 2,6 %, or by 14 thousand tons up to 546 thousand tons in comparison with August.

Ilyich Mariupol Metal Works reduced manufacture of pig-iron by 5,6 %, or by 26,30 thousand tons to 444,90 thousand tons in comparison with August.

At the iron & steel works "Azovstal" (Mariupol, Donetsk region) manufacture of pig-iron reduced by 2,4 %, or by 11,20 thousand tons to 462,70 thousand tons in comparison with August.

In January-September manufacture of pig-iron increased by 8,6 %, or by 1 million 940,01 thousand tons in comparison with January-September 2005 and has made 24 million 514,11 thousand tons.

In 2005, manufacture of pig-iron has made 30 million 774,9 thousand tons.
