OREANDA-NEWS. In September 2006, export of iron ore by Ukraine reduced by 11,8 %, or by 217,12 thousand tons to 1 million 619,93 thousand tons in comparison with August.

According to "Ukrainian news", the proceeds from export of iron ore have decreased by 9,5 %, or by $6,83 million to $64,78 million.

Export of non-agglomerated ore has decreased by 17,1 %, or by 197,71 thousand tons to 960,06 thousand tons.

Export of agglomerated ore reduced by 2,9 %, or by 19,41 thousand tons to 659,87 thousand tons.

In comparison with September 2005 export of iron ore in September 2006 reduced by 10,6 %, or by 191,21 thousand tons.

In January-September 2006, export of iron ore increased by 6 %, or by 841,45 thousand tons in comparison with January-September 2005 and has made 14 million 911,50 thousand tons to the amount of $591,42 million.

In 2005, export of iron ore increased by 7,4 %, or by 1 million 345,63 thousand tons in comparison with 2004  and has made 19 million 471,68 thousand tons to the amount of $937,63 million.
