OREANDA-NEWS. For January-September 2006 the enterprise of raw complex of UMMC – OJSC "Gai GOK" made 367 thousand 134 tons of copper concentrate (at the level of the same period of 2005), copper in it - 55 thousand 70 tons (at the level of the same period of 2005).

According to the press-service of UMMC, production of sulfuric pyrites made 313 thousand tons (139,1 %), sulfurs in it - 150 thousand 264 tons (139,7 %).

For January-September 2006, Gai GOK produced 4 million 123 thousand tons of ore (110,6 % in comparison with the same period of 2005). In particular, 3 million 347 thousand tons of ore (113,2 %) was produced in underground mine.

The Head of technological department of Gai GOK Sergey Kubrin has noted that the enterprise has started extraction of ore on the deposit "Osennee" (Dombarovskaia group) in September. For the last month 40 thousand tons of ore has been extracted on the deposit "Osennee".

In total, for nine months the enterprise has made the commodity output to the amount of 5,124 billion roubles, or 68,3 % more than the same parameter of 2005.
