OREANDA-NEWS. In September 2006 export of pig-iron by Ukraine decreased by 33,4 %, or by 43,21 thousand tons  to 86,10 thousand tons in comparison with August.

According to "Ukrainian news", September proceeds from export of pig-iron have decreased by 4,1 %, or by $12,22 million to $23,66 million.

The basic buyer of the Ukrainian pig-iron in September was Italy, which share in the general volume of export of pig-iron from Ukraine has made 73,69 thousand tons, or 85,6 %.

In comparison with September 2005, export of pig-iron in September 2006 has increased by 39,7 %, or by 24,48 thousand tons.

In January-September 2006, export of pig-iron increased by 31,4 %, or by 200,34 thousand tons in comparison with January-September 2005 and has made 838,27 thousand tons to the amount of $199,85 million.

In 2005, export of pig-iron reduced by 31,9 %, or by 411,46 thousand tons in comparison with 2004 and has made 879,07 thousand tons to the amount of $216,07 million.
