OREANDA-NEWS. Consultants of the Russian Institute of Directors (RID) have completed Phase 1 of the Corporate Governance Audit Project at Vyksa Steel Works (VSW, Nizhni Novgorod Region), part of United Metallurgical Company (OMK).

The Project's goal is to contribute to the development of relations with investors and make VSW more attractive for interested parties.

According to the press service of OMK, the recommendations provided by RID specialists lay the basis for the 2006-2007 Plan of Measures for Improvement of Corporate Governance Practice developed for Vyksa Steel Works to carry out Phase 2 of the Project – the implementation of advanced corporate governance standards at VSW.
