OREANDA-NEWS. Coordination Council on the interaction of CHTPZ Group and Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works was held at the Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling Plant.

According to the public relations department of Joint-Stock Company “CHTPZ Group", the purpose of this action was summarizing of cooperation and discussion of the long-term plans of the companies-partners. The general director of JSC “CHTPZ Group” Vitaly Sadykov, the First Assistant General Director of JSC “CHTPZ Group” Vladimir Gornstein, Director of Investments and Technical Policy of JSC “CHTPZ Group” Sergey Chikalov, Vice-President on Strategic Development of OJSC "Management Company “MMK” Rafkat Takhautdinov, the Chief Engineer of OJSC “MMK” Yury Bodjaev, the Sales Manager of OJSC “MMK” Boris Dubrovsky and other experts of the companies have taken part in work of the council.

Being the strategic partner of CHTPZ Group, ММК delivered approximately 670 thousand tons of metal rolling to Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling and Pervouralsk Novotrubny Plants for nine months of this year.

Within the frameworks of the meeting representatives of ММК have brought to attention of partners a variant of reconstruction of hot-rolling mill 2000 according to perspective requirements of the large-diameter pipes’ consumers.

Besides, the parties have discussed the working moments of cooperation regarding marks and transportations of metal rolling, as well as forthcoming tests of steel mark 05G1B by the oil companies, which is to take place the next year at participation of CHTPZ and MMK.

The next Coordination Council is planned for February 2007.
