OREANDA-NEWS. CJSC Transmashholding is implementing its obligations under the contract signed this June by Transmashholding and Saint-Petersburg Metro (Saint-Petersburg) in advance.

According to the public relations department, Transmashholding has already delivered to Saint-Petersburg eight 81-714.5P (class 81-541) metro cars manufactured by Metrovagonmash against five prescribed by the contract.

Under the contract Transmashholding will be providing a total of 20 intermediate metro cars to Saint-Petersburg (5 – in October, 7 – in November, and 8 –in December) this year.

It is the first time since the cars have been provided to Saint-Petersburg after a long interval.
